Notifications and alerts

Introduction

Genkibo keeps you informed of all important actions through a multichannel notification system: email, SMS, and in-app notifications. This module explains when and how you are notified.


Notification channels

1. Email notifications

Email is the main channel for important notifications. Emails are sent automatically for key events.

2. SMS notifications

For security actions (2FA) and urgent alerts, SMS messages are sent through our secure messaging system.

3. In-app notifications

Notifications appear directly in the platform interface (bell icon in the navigation bar).

Managing notification preferences

Note: Fine-grained notification preferences (enabling/disabling certain types) may be available in settings depending on your configuration.

To access notification settings:

  1. Go to SettingsNotifications (if available).
  2. Enable or disable the notification types you want.
  3. Save.

Important automated emails

Welcome email

Sent at registration with onboarding information for the platform.

Verification email

Contains the link to confirm your email address. Act on it promptly (temporary link).

Password reset email

Contains the secure link to create a new password.

Payment schedule email

Sent automatically with your full payment schedule in PDF or calendar-compatible format.

Audit result email

Notifies the company of the audit decision with details (approved or rejected with reasons).


What if you are not receiving emails?

  1. Check your spam folder: notification emails sometimes land in junk mail.
  2. Add the Genkibo sender to your contacts to avoid spam filters.
  3. Verify your email address in your account settings.
  4. Contact support if the problem continues.
